Meat Summit was created by Laine and Valerie Penney — a husband-and-wife team from Irvine, Kentucky, with a shared passion for helping more people discover the carnivore lifestyle.
The story
IT STARTED WITH ONE TRANSFORMATION.
Laine’s journey began after years of managing Crohn’s disease and searching for solutions. In 2024 he discovered the carnivore way of eating, began researching deeply, and experienced powerful personal changes — the kind you can’t unsee.
Valerie brings decades of experience creating, leading, and facilitating events both in person and virtual. After Laine’s transformation, they both knew this message needed to reach more people in an even bigger, more memorable way.
They are not doctors, gurus, or coaches. They’re virtual-event specialists and community builders who care deeply about making the carnivore world more accessible, welcoming, and inspiring.
